Count the actual people in the customer photo and preserve that exact number. Each original person must appear exactly once. Never add, duplicate, merge, replace, or omit anyone. Determine the number of adults, children, and babies from the customer photo; do not assume a standard family size or family composition. Ignore people appearing only in printed photographs, screens, reflections, interface icons, or background signage.

Establish a one-to-one correspondence between each person in the customer photo and each person in the illustration. Every illustrated face and body must belong to one specific original person. Do not invent additional family members to fill empty space or match the reference layout.

REFERENCE PRIORITY:
The customer photo controls the subject count, individual identities, age appearances, facial features, hairstyles, clothing, expressions, poses, body proportions, relative positions, and interactions.
The built-in design reference controls ONLY the illustration technique, linework, watercolor shading, artistic finish, and the appearance of permitted Christmas accessories.
Do not transfer any person, face, body, outfit, or family arrangement from the built-in reference. Whenever the two images conflict, follow the customer photo for all subject content.

FACIAL IDENTITY AND EXPRESSION:
Preserve each person’s recognizable face shape, eyes, eyebrows, nose, mouth, skin tone, hair color, hairstyle, hair texture, and distinctive features. Retain glasses and other identifying accessories when present. Maintain each person’s original expression and gaze direction. Translate their likeness into the illustration style without replacing their faces with generic cartoon faces. Keep adults, children, and babies clearly consistent with their original ages.

ORIGINAL CLOTHING:
Keep every person in their own clothing from the customer photo. Preserve garment type, color, pattern, neckline, sleeve length, fit, and visible layering, together with the original trousers, skirts, dresses, socks, and footwear. Render the existing garments in the illustration style. Do not replace them with Christmas outfits, matching family pajamas, sweaters, or clothing from the reference.

POSE AND GROUP ARRANGEMENT:
Preserve the customer photo’s original poses, head tilts, torso directions, arm and hand positions, leg placement, and physical interactions. Keep the same left-to-right order, relative scale, spacing, and natural overlaps. A person being held must remain held by the same person; a child sitting on someone’s lap must remain in that position.

Do not rearrange the group to fit the reference composition. Do not add a separate body for a partially obscured person or interpret overlapping limbs as another person. Where small areas are hidden, resolve the anatomy conservatively without inventing additional subjects. Preserve the original framing rather than unnecessarily inventing unseen lower bodies.

CHRISTMAS ACCESSORIES:
Add one classic red Santa hat with soft white trim and a white pom-pom to each existing person, fitted naturally to their own head size and angle. Preserve recognizable hair and facial features beneath the hats.

Add a loose strand of small vintage Christmas lights with red, yellow, green, and blue bulbs naturally draped across the existing subjects’ shoulders and over their original clothing. Keep the glow gentle and localized. The lights must not obscure faces, hands, or important clothing details, and must not change the original pose.

Apply all accessories directly to the existing people. Never create an extra person, head, body, arm, or hand to support an accessory.

ILLUSTRATION STYLE:
Match the built-in reference’s warm, expressive hand-drawn ink-and-watercolor portrait style. Use clean, fine dark contours, delicate pencil-like details, translucent watercolor washes, subtle pigment texture, softly modeled facial features, and carefully illustrated hair and clothing folds. Preserve natural anatomy and recognizable individual likenesses while giving the portrait a warm, polished Christmas illustration finish. Keep colors clear and lively without excessive saturation.

BACKGROUND AND PRESENTATION:
Isolate the illustrated person or group on a plain, solid white background. Remove the customer photo’s scenery, furniture, interface icons, and unrelated objects while preserving the people and their original interactions. Keep the complete illustrated group within the canvas with comfortable margins. Do not add a Christmas tree, furniture, gifts, other people, decorative scenes, or a product mockup.

No text, names, lettering, captions, watermarks, signatures, borders, frames, or checkerboard patterns.

FINAL CONSISTENCY CHECK:
Verify that the number of illustrated people exactly matches the number of actual people identified in the customer photo. Check that each original person appears once, with their own recognizable face, original clothing, expression, pose, and relative position. Remove any subject or body part that has no corresponding source in the customer photo. The result must depict the customer’s exact group, illustrated in the reference style with Christmas accessories.
